What to consider when choosing an accounting package

 

Every business will have different requirements from an accounting software. When choosing accounting software we took the following into consideration:

Does the system calculate all payroll requirements (PAYE, UIF, annual leave, etc.)?

Does the system track stock, work in progress, orders, jobs and other task management requirements?

Will the system be able to handle multiple bank accounts?

Does the system need to handle foreign currency?

Does the system track separate financial records for each business or department within the business?

Does the system allow for interface with other computer systems such as online payments?

Does the system keep detailed records on customers including what they buy, how often they buy and when they buy (often referred to as a Customer Relationship Manager system)?

 

 

 

Why do I need bookkeeping?

What software do you use?

Our base software packages are Xero Accounting, Sage Accounting and  QuickBooks Online, which allows our clients to log into their account at any time, from the cloud. We are certified advisors for these software options.

Can you work at my premises?

Numberworks is a mainly cloud-based accounting service. We take the time to assess your requirements and occasionally agree to work at your premises with certain tasks.  We are always available to provide quality online support and guidance.
